Westover's Mid-Week Movie Schedule for December and January


Between two holidays which often include great food, the Westover Branch Library features 4 films that also celebrate with food:

  • Julie and Julia - Wednesday, Nov. 30, 6:30 p.m. Trying to find a challenge in her life, wanna-be writer Julie Powell decides to cook her way through Julie Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking, while blogging about the experience. PG-13
  • Mostly Martha - Wednesday, Dec. 7, 6:30 p.m. Head chef at a chic restaurant, Martha is passionate about cooking, but her well ordered life is shaken up when her head strong 8 year-old niece comes to live with her at the same time the restaurant hires a charming and carefree Italian chef. NR
  • Big Night - Wednesday, Dec. 14, 6:30 p.m. Two brothers try to save their failing Italian restaurant gambling on one spectacular night. R
  • Chocolat - Wednesday, Dec.21, 6:30 p.m. When a single mother and her daughter move to a small rural French village to open a chocolate shop... open on a Sunday and across from the church... tongue's wag and temptation takes over. PG-13
